‘I can do IT’ provides targeted support to Carers and people with disabilities and health conditions We will help people to develop their IT skills via a selection of engaging and interactive workshops providing practical support and taking into account the specific needs of the group.
Over the sessions you could learn how to:
•Search for jobs
•Search the internet for topics of interest
•Use different devices and applications
•Manage bank accounts and do shopping online
•Use basic IT programmes including Word and Excel
Gaining basic IT skills and using digital technology can impact positively on many aspects of life. Learners can expect a range of outcomes that are tailored to their individual needs. For example:
•Using emails effectively
•Identifying the benefits and risks of using the internet
•Learning to use different forms of digital technology in everyday life, including smartphones & tablets
•Accessing online services, tools and support
•Finding out what you would like to do next
