Following on from our earlier brief post that The Disability Resource Centre has an ICARE exercise machine, more details have been posted about this amazing piece of equipment. The Disability Resource Centre’s Chief Executive Officer, Melanie Hawman announced more details:
We have some amazing news – we have now taken delivery of this fantastic piece of kit that will allow people with any gait or balance impairments regardless of diagnosis: Orthopaedic, Neurologic, Geriatric, Bariatric, and Paediatric.
We already have some wonderful success stories from the work that we have been doing with BIG Health and Fitness to ensure that Clients with bariatric or mobility problems are able to reduce weight and improve fitness. Now in partnership with Sports Art we are able to offer something that is the first of its type in the UK.
